I have the same things around here byut they are outside. Use to play with them as a kid because when you touch them they roll into a ball.

The ones I knew were these
Isopod, Pillbug, Sow Bug Information

They were funny putting in puddles but never lasted.

Ummmm, you know you just could be right!

Your link shows pic almost exactly like the one in my tank.

As I stated in link above I had added some rock that had been sitting out in garage for long time...may have crawled into it...but has been in sump for couple of months....

You're talking about "roly polys" that most boys and some girls played with as kids. They are one of the land forms of Isopods.

If it was alive in your tank, its not the land kind.

i had some in my tank too, it was bold enough to come out during the day and swim across the sand, my scooter dragonete seen it instantly and pecked it till is was dead then ate it. i should have filmed it but did not realize it was a isopod at the time. havent seen one since. not many pods of any kind stand a chance in my tank lol check out my fish list.

Wouldn't suggest the bug spray IMO!!! LOL!!

If you look in the fine print it says "kills most bugs, flies and marine critters!"
