2 New Conchs

I was down in the Keys this weekend, jetsking, boating, and snorkeling. I have friends that live on the bay side of the Florida Keys, My wife and I even got married on their dock at sunset. Well today, I was snorkeling and found these 2 beauties and could not resist so now here they dwell in my tank. I think they are welks or queen conchs. If anyone can identify these and warn me if they will reak havoc in my tank, please do so. Meanwhile they look cool and are very motile.

i have the fighting conchs but the bodies are lighter in color im not sure which conch you have but if they are a small queen heres a pretty good description

how easy r conchs to keep? r they reef safe?

I have two fighting conches in my reef and they have been perfect inhabitants. They are excellent detritus eaters from what I've been told. I'm not sure if yours are Queens or not, although I would assume they are. Mine have a whitish underbody as karlas do. Watch out, though, I've heard that the Queens get quite large.
