White growth on LR

    Hey guys, I'm no newbie when it comes to the saltwater hobby. I'm not an expert either, I've been doing this for about 5+ yrs. I just recently set up a new saltwater tank about a yr and half ago. I have some strange growth on some LR and wanted to see if any of you guys have had this or know what it is. I think it might be some sponge type organism or something but Ill let you guys decide. Much appreciated for the help! Ive attached a pic to look at, I took it on my phone so sorry about the quality. BTW all my water parameters are where they should be. Its a mixed reef, few LPS, SPS, and fish. Thanks!

    Yes it is indeed a sponge. What a great growth formation. Very cool.
