Default While killing the Bubble Algae - I noticed this. Coral?

Well this would be a lucky break.

Update - New and improved Pictures

Is this a Coral or just another Dreaded Parasite?

Well all of a sudden that $8.99 a pound live rock got a lot cheaper.

I will have to step up my game if he is going to survive. I have not been keeping the tank under strict "Reef" parameters because I hadn't planned on introducing Corals for months.

"Uncovered" ?

I don't even know what that means.

I just noticed it last night. I have only had that rock about 10 days.

Polyps are to small to be tubanaria, looks more like an encrusting montipora or possibly leptastrea.
