Hi ALL,

Rides a turbo snail and grew on it,

In the first picture, I see some asterina snails and a stomatella snail. Not sure what's stuck to the snail in the second picture unless it's the same critter but just doesn't look the same?

Amcarrig, it looks as if the thing in the second picture has a calcerous tube, like a vermetid snail. Can vermetid snails be white?

Looks like tube worms. The first has grown on a snail the second on rock.

I think that both pictures show this tube worm on a snail. The second pic is zoomed much more making it appear like it's on a rock.

OK, I was obviously looking at the wrong thing(s) in those pictures It does look like a vermetid but I've never seen a white one so I'll go with the tube worm theory.
