| I wouldn't do that if it's a big rock. A small one, OK, but you are going to end up with die off on the rock and kill some or all of the beneficial bacteria. I would try either spot killing them or introducing a predator. And it's more fun that way!!!!
I have a few of these buggers on some of my large rocks and am going to get them using a predator. I have worked too hard to achieve balance in my system without causing a cycle to start again. _________ 90g HW: 20g Sump, ETSS PSw/Mag9, CPR OF/Rio 2100 RTN, MJ AC 2K3 PH's (2800GPH ttl flow), 300W htr, Gnd Prb, Denitrator, UV, PCs: 2x65,4x55 Fish: Ylw Tang, LM Blenny, Hmbg, Y-T, Ylw dmsls, Mrn Clown, Coral Beauty, Red Crs Wrsse. | Some cb's can get pretty aggresive(understatement) towards other shrimp or even smaller fish. For your aiptasia, if its easily reached, just shoot them with the joes juice and your done, no worries. |
