| I've seen these before. I apologize I don't recall what they're called. I googled images for nudibranches and sea slugs, and it doesn't seem to be either.
I'm pretty sure that whatever it is, it's no cause for immediate alarm or killing. Maybe come daybreak someone can back me up on this.

| Looks like a flatworm to me, not a nudibranch. I'd remove it asap since you don't know what it eats (could be corals). |

| I agree, nudibranches usually have appendages or segments, antennae, this appears to be some sort of worm. I would remove it, if you don't know what it is, then take it out, better safe then sorry.

| Well, if you do decide to leave it in your tank, name him Karl.
I'm leaning more towards it being some kind of nudi rather than a flatworm.
I just didn't think flatworms got that big, but I may be wrong.
Plus, if it was a flatworm, wouldn't there typically be more than just one?

| Though not a very colorful example as the name suggests, it's a polyclad flatworm. They are very effective mollusc predators, and may kill and eat both snails and clams. Marine Flatworms of the World! - Photo Gallery Navigation
