what kind of tree coral is this

i now its a soft coral tree but idk if there is really a name for it if someone knows what kind of tree it is plz let me know heres a pic

Yep Kenya Tree coral. Capnella sp. Very easy to care for and in no time you'll have dozens.

Kenya Tree are very easy to propagate, I turned 1 into 6 within about 2 months.

Like most softies, cut them at the base, superglue\rubberband the cut piece to another rock and watch the base grow back.

Yep a Kenya Tree pretty sure. Also referred to as a Cauliflower Soft Coral, Nephthea, or Nephthya, is similar to members of both the Litophytonand Nephthea genera

I literally have dozens of frags and clumps in tank. Have to "prune" all the time. Is a "weed coral" --- but a pretty one.

Come to my house and help yourself to all you want.

Enjoy. Won't take long to have them all over your tank also. Spread themselves by dropping off little hunks and starting up wherever they land.

i did not know they grew that big i have had mine 4 about month and half and its just now starting to grow can i trim it if its gets to big

as to your fragging q they will get fairly big but they also reproduce by budding, i personally am much more excited to see a little one grow nice and strong then split two big ones, very pretty coral and a nice display piece you probably could trim it i dont know if i would reccomend it though the best thing to do would probably sell your initial piece back to lfs if you can and watch your buds grow, itll probably save you a few bucks on your next purchase at the lfs anyway

let it grow for a little, so you can enjoy its beauty. When it starts to get a little to large, then you frag...... just take a razor and slice a branch off and superglue to rock.
