Question What the Heck?

Ok, so what the heck is this thing? It came crawling out of the live rock this morning and I took it out with gloves on and put it in isolation. Can someone ID it before I decide whether to nuke it or let it go back into the hole from whence it came?

A couple of people have found these snails lately. Here is a neat video of them spawning. Not my video, just found it on youtube.

Added to the Karma for that one too! Love that video! I gave a science lesson to a 9 year old boy on the ammonia cycle and he was SOOO very interested! I swear science teachers in Elementary Schools should have nanocubes in their classrooms. This tank is the BEST thing we ever did(well besides the kids)! I love watching the critters emerge from the live rock!

The picture in question and the video is NOT a stomatella. It is a tropical Abalone. If it has fringes on the side, its an Abalone if it doesnt, its a Stomatella. Some Abalones also have a row of holes on the top(cant remember exact name) but not all. Abalones are OFTEN miss ID'd for stomatella because when you do a image search for stomatella, you see a bunch of Abalone pics mixed in.
