With the pictures available, I cannot ID the species. Based on eye-stalk shape, I would guess Neogonodactylus wennerae . I pick these puppies up with my bare hands. Let 'em hammer at me all they want. If the live rock came from Florida or near-Caribbean islands, my suspicions rise substantially.
The mantis in the video is a Peacock mantis They are never hitchhikers.

I touch them too but only if they are MY Peacocks. Snuggles died about a month back which makes me sad. He was easily the most spoiled mantis in North America. All of the customers always wanted to feed him.
