star fish or worms??

    I found a star fish in my tank and now im seeing these things on two of my rocks...there are about 4 "legs" of them on the two rocks...any ideas what this is?? Is it bad?

    I think it's a brittle sea star. I've asked quite a few questions on this forum about them, because I have some too. People say they cause no trouble and help keep the tank clean. I don't like mine, but that's just my personal opinion...I find them creepy!

    teh white things are feather dusters and the little red lines on the red rock is a brittle star im pretty sure. maybe a basket starfish. very nice scavengers thou.

    I have a few in my tank..but i see the big ones in the stores and i don't see how anyone could want that thing crawling around in their tank lol

    I think they are nice to have in your tank. You only see them at night after the lights go out.
