I have just noticed something moving and growing on a Dead Trochus Snail's Shell. The little greenish brown round thing has antennas, which you can't see in the image. The cave looking thing has been getting bigger. Should I get rid of these or are they harmless?

I am going with Vermetid but honestly I can not see much in the image.

Agreed-- hard to tell. Appears it might be vermetid or featherduster tubes and a sponge of some type-- perhaps pineapple. Probably mostly harmless.

To be certain, you might want to check out the hitch hikers section at Lionfish Lair or Chuck's Addiction.
