| Red Fluorescent Algae Hello friends!
I've just restarted my tank I was cleaning LR, and after placing it back to the tank I've discovered this fancy red fluorescent algae.
The question is, are they good or not ?!

| Hey! Thanks for hint! I don't think it's the case. It looks like a totally new specimen. The most important difference is the fact it glows
Looks lovely |

| Thanks for feedback Scott. The stuff I see on the rock looks healthy. It looks marvellous when I turn on my actinics. |

I like it. Looks very intriguing. I was trying to find some about fluorescence of marine algae and stumbled upon few papers about fluorescent cyanobacteriae. I will scrap a small sample from the rock , and hand it to guys from marine ecology unit. |
