    I just picked this up for $35 and was wondering a little more about it. I'm thinking it's some sort of plate. Thanks everybody .

    Very nice, it might be a Galaxea or Hydnophora.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    It's a Hydnophora: They are tolerant of all lighting conditions, mine is in a shaded area, but they do fine under intense lighting as well. A very aggressive coral, it will send out sweeper tentacles a foot long in the direction of the flow and kill near by corals quickly. Hydnophora will take target feedings. It's a moderately fast grower. There is also a branching variety.

    Nice buy for $35.00. It does not look like me Galaxea though.
