octopus?

is it possible to get an octopus as a hitch hiker? i earlier bought some live rock and placed it in my tank. then i had to leave to do some stuff. when i came back there was an octopus that was eating my gold stripe maroon clown!!!! i rushed to the tank but it hid in the peice of live rock. I didnt know what do do so i took the live rock out and nuked it!

please dont tell me that. i cant just kill animals. boooooooo! try and catch it you could most likely sell it for some coin.(next time)

man... bad touch on nuking an octopus. That's deff. worthy of a species tank, or at least selling to the LFS.

How big was it? Are you sure you got it?

I would kill MANY clownfish before I would ever hurt an octopus. They have advanced nervous systems and are above above fish; they feel pain. That's like beating and killing a mammal, like a cat or a squirrel. Not cool man. . . not cool.
