Name this coral?

I had this coral pop out a couple months ago and never knew what it was.

 

Some sort of pest anemone?

 

Could this be a Curly Q anemone? Would that explain why my Green Star Polyp colony doesn't come out?? The GSP colony on the other side of the tank comes out every day.


How do I remove it?

 

Looks like it. It will sting anything it can touch, so it could be your issue. Most ppl seem to like placing a Kalkwasser paste over them to kill them.

 

So i got the paste from my LFS today. I was getting ready to put it on the anemone, then I noticed the Anemone was gone! After doing some searching around the tank, I saw it torn apart with two of my emerald crabs on top of it! Maybe they got stung, and beat up the anemone?

 

Well that's interesting. I had a peppermint shrimp take care of my pest anemones.
