Sorry no pic...just too small to pick up with my camra.
But what it is .... looks like a clump of black hairs growing out from the base of a rock, approx. 1/4 to 1/2 inch tall..more like a 1/4.... but, today I notice that they ( a few ) reach out about 3 inches or so...most likely feeding.
but they are like thread or fine black hair?
    Any help..
    as always, Thanx in advance.
    Happy sunday.
    LG

maybe a small worm like a spaghetti worm, I had some small red ones that looked like spaghetti worms and never did any harm, I'd keep an eye on it, but if it stays put it will most likely just consume detritus and whatever small particles it drags over with it arms

I do that every time I shine a flashlight in the tank at night, "wtf is that thing and whats it looking to eat" long as they leave my coral and inhabitants alone they get to stay...

Sometimes I think the less I know the better. There really is a lot of crapola in our tanks that we are only dimly aware of (OK, I've just used the word we very, very loosely). But ya get my point.......
