    where did you place yours? i keep reading conflicting opinions on placement , some say high with mod flow and others say low with low flow

    Ours is on the sand, not shaded, with decent flow. It hasn't started the spike thing yet (it was the only frag of it they had in the big sale tank LOL), but it's spreading on the frag pretty quickly. The rest of the frags of it in the non-sale tanks were larger and putting up the spikes already.

    No, it's a strombus snail, that's just its hind end LOL. They have different patterns, but that one just happens to look like a sundial from that angle.
