| sting ray can you get a pic of it with maby a little less lighting and the flash so we can see its true color as it looks kinda skewed by the tank lights
dose the crab have black claws if so get it out they are killers |

| I am now aware of the crab being no good but still unaware of why???
Will he eat everything, fish, shrimps, worms, anemones, corals, he only comes out at night ??? why is this crab so bad? |

The Xanthidae Crabs (link - extensive photo gallery) None of which can be considered reef safe and can be the most destructive of the crab types. While very small, they seem to pick at algae on the rocks, but just as with other crabs species, once they gain a bit of size, their ability to pick off and eat any number of invertebrates and corals also increases. They also have a bad habit of enlarging their hiding places within live rock and will, in due time, weaken the rock considerably.
Below, a commonly found Xanthid species living within live rock. |

| Thank you tazzy,.soon as i can locate the litte bugger again i will rip him out of his hideing hole,i may have to remove the rock to get him out,i must be blind, just gonna pop down specsavers....lol |
