if all the books and research say it isn't from there maby someone had a couple that got to big for their tank or shut their tank down and dumped them in the local area so they are a transplant there now |

| Thats crazy!! My buddy caught one of these exact same fish for me when he was in Florida! I was about to post it on the ID this forum, now I don't need to. Mine changes from alomost red speckles to dark black striping instantly as well. That's awesome that we have the same wild caught goby! We'll have to keep in touch and compare the fish. Good find! I love this little guy _________ 72G Bowfront, Mag 7 Return, Euro Reef RS-80 Skimmer, Reef Geek Retro T5HO 48"x4, Exhaust Fans, 2 Koralia 4's, 20G Sump Modified, 80 lbs. | i found scooter blennies in walnut creek and elk creek going into lake erie mixed in with schools of sculpins.sculpins or muddler minnows are native here but the scooters are saltwater and not from here.the only difference is sculpins don't have a foot and scooters do and are salt water.the ships dump water from the sea into lake erie every day.the scooters eventually adjusted to the fresh water and reproduced.i've been wondering for quite a while if i could catch some and get them to adjust back to salt water.
