| Sounds like a good plan. I just was listening to a podcast today that mentioned that harlequin shrimp love to chow down on these critters. Of course (i heard), that species of shrimp needs starfish as a main part of their diet so there's the worry of what to feed them when the pest is gone.

| Very true. I don't have any SPS and I've never seen them injuring any of my soft corals. For me they're a nice source of biodiversity.
(ie the girlfriend loves the cute little starfish ) |

| That looks like one of the bad kind. Without a microscope its hard to tell ig you didnt find it eating. Most asterinas just eat coraline. some eat sps, some eat lps, some eat softies, then again some eat algae. Theres over 100 different species of asterinas, and most cannot be identified without a microscope. _________ Got Questions? Need Answers?
