| can't really see it that well But do you have a frogspawn or torch coral and if so where are they place ? Maybe located in or near that area ? Yep, I do have a Frogspawn and that is what I thought it might be or a Bubble Coral... |

| | 3reef Moderator | Frogspawn will drop heads if unhappy. I'm not sure if they do it to reproduce. You may want to loosely mount it to a rock to see what it will do. If it just blows around your sand bed it will not survive

| I was just doing a bit of investigation and this one way in which they reproduce. It is not just one head, but a small colony, about 10 heads...There are a few more little colonies on the Frogspawn. I am fairly certain it is not unhappy, it has nearly doubled in size since we got it...
