HELP! ID these white disc things

    Help me please i have no idea if these disc things are harmful or if they are some rare gem hahahaha let me know any thoughts thanks!!

    have they been growing? almost looks like a dusters outer shell. but i dont think its that

    they dont really grow i mean they kinda pop up in rows like that out of nowhere it seems its only on 2 rocks in rows of 5 or 7 or so. they are all the same size and seem to stay that way

    almost like a barnacle? i dont know if they grow like that. got me just guessing. lol

    i would say maybe a barnacle but they are thin maybe 3/16" thick

    They are not barnacles, barnacles feed with a feather duster like fan.

    They definitely are cool looking. Have you been able to observe them after the lights are out? Might help with ID.

    never seen this living thing before hopefully its not dangerous and rather be a cool looking hitchhiker. Im stumped maybe if you have physical contact you can see how it reacts. Just a suggestion
