I cant seem to get a good picture, but our hammer has a large bubble. It looks like it has swelled up one tenticle the size of a nickle. Any ideas on what caused this? Is it bad? What shold we do?

I've never seen or heard of this. If you can post a picture, maybe we can get some answers to what is going on.

There are some fuzzy mushrooms next to it. (been next to it for more than 6 months) Then there is a short tenticle plate about six inches away, but it isn't down current or anything. Hmmm...I will try to get a pic in the morning.

I'll bet you a dime to a dollar that it is growing a new head. Sometimes you can catch frogspawn doing this.
