    My snail has several green pod like things growing on his shell. I have a 1/2 gallon nano reef tank ... Aliens?

    I have a few of those around a couple of my tanks; but none on my snails. That is definitely cool looking!

    Actually it is indeed very cool.

    It's a single celled organism, one of the largest. Stem, top all one cell, different parts of the cell but one cell.
