Anemone MAybe?

growing on a piece of LR encrusted with porites. looks to be an anemone but i cant find any pics with similarities. Im looking for the name of species and whether its a keeper.

the pic isnt the best but im sure one of you will get it.

Im not 100% but first thing that came to mind was sponge with hair algea on it.

dont think it's anemone.. it's acting like sand tubeworms.. just they have only 2 tentacles and this has many..

try to understand if it's expanding to became wider or if it's growing like a coral so becoming bigger and wider..

for me it seems a soft coral ... and it's probably from actynias.. check under glass anemones for examples... but i dont think it's like a real anemone..

I think it is an anemone, a strawberry anemone from california!

Could be juvenile glass anemones(aiptasia) or type of hydroids!
The picture isn't very clear to be exact but as a guess, that is what I come up with!

Hey! Looks exactly as my colony of strawberry anemones! They are sweet! They are tiny, though they will successively cover your piece of LR! Try to target feed them with juvenile brine shrimp and see what happens

They like moderate light and very slow water current! Most probably you can see them open at night! I like them! I've discovered them thanks to my clown fish that were constantly gazing a rock!
