I am looking for a timing device that has mutliple switches.

eg A device that can switch several other devices on and off at per determined intervals.

Any clues?

Not bad for the price... I was wondering if you bought two of them and plugged one into the other what kind of staggered timing you could get!!

The timer I was thinking of is to switch low voltage solenoids. So the type I need would have multiple time programable switches but these switches do not need to supply any electricity. Does that make any sense? :-)

You might be able to use an irrigation timer...they are low voltage and have multiple stations so you can set them to go whenever you want...interesting question.

I think you can get those timers with varying voltage too. Most of the ones I have used are set at the standard irrigation valve voltage (US). There are some relatively small, inexpensive sprinkler timers on the market...What is the voltage on the solenoid switches??
And can you use a voltage adapter to drop the AC down to what you need and then plug the adapter into an AC switch?

I did look at irrigation timers and lot of other too.

Think I found what I need at a local electonics store in kit form, just need to clean up the old soldering iron LOL

LOL, I did my apprenticeship as an electrician albeit many years ago, and I reckon I can recognise that smell from a mile away ( the solder, not the house )

Here in San Diego I've learned to recognize the burning hillside, house, car, neighbor's cat, and you name it smells!!

Haven't figured out how to smell an earthquake yet!!
