Default Thermostat for fans?

Im getting ready to buy fans for my new stand and canopy. Im planing on running 2 120mm fans in the canopy and 2 in the stand.

Do you guys just run the 24 hours a day, when the lights are on, whet its hot, or what? Have them on a simple switch or timer?

I would like to hook them up to a thermostat that measured the temp of my water. Is there anything like this available?

By the way, if have been researching ultra quiet computer fans. the Scythe S-flex have been getting good reviews, and move a lot of air. $14.99 a piece.

Are these fans 12v DC or 120v AC?

I do have a thermostat in sump cabinet that kicks fans on/off based on ambient air temperature in sump area.

Am replacing fans now as it sounds like an airplane taking off in living room when fans kick on. (two in sump cabinet and two in canopy)...

Think I got thermostat at harborfreight.com.

They are 12v DC. If I cant find a 12v thermostat, I will go through the trouble of running the thermostat through a ac/dc converter to run quieter fans.

Do you run your canopy on a thermostat, or a timer when your lights are on?

What temp does your thermostat from harbor freight kick the fans on at?

Do you run a chiller on your tank?

Temp setting on thermostat adjustable...think I have it set for fans to start when temp in sump area goes to 82 degrees.

All the fans run off of same thermostat.

No chiller...room AC.
