| staining a new stand hey guys n gals
just wondering for those of u who stained yer own stands did u stain inside yer cupboards or do something else to seal the wood?
i am thinking about using the benchtop finnish < not sure of the name of it but its the stuff on most household kitchen benches> instead of staining bcause its quicker and easyer to clean should i ever have to clean a mess up
thnx in advance |

| I always just stain the inside to match the outside with a good polyurethane sealer on the very bottom of the cabinet helps keep water out of the wood if it sets in a puddle or something.

| You should seal inside and out.Any moisture, even humidity from the tank, will affect timber over time.Especially ply or craftwood. |

| exterior paint on the inside. a good exterior paint is good for 15 yrs on a house, so imagine how long on the inside of a stand. _________ Got Questions? Need Answers? "Believe those who are seeking the truth; doubt those who find it." Andre Gide |
