| Re: Ply Wood Tank Hi,
One thing most people dont undersatnd is plywood is one of the strongest woods there is. Before building i asked around and most said that 3/4 inch thick was more than enough. I actually made it much stronger. I used two pieces laminated together. One 3/4 inch and one 1/2 inch.
Took about 3 months to make but i was only doing it for something to do at the time and just did some work on it now and then. I suppose if was to make another it would take about 40 hours at a guess.
Cheers,
Viking. |

I suppose glass for a tank this size would be 1/2 inch maybe more on the bottom.
20 years? hell i'll probably be dead

| Re: Ply Wood Tank Plywood would be cheaper for a tank this size. Smaller, glass would be cheaper.
