| Can you possibly give us a close up picture of the layout?
How you have it set into the fixture would open our eyes more so?
Thanks from the newbie

| Dont you need some kind of resistor to un LED's? i was going to use an old 4.8V DC charger to run a pair of LED's i found at the radioshack here in town that are 430nm. could i just wire them from the charger to the LED? |

| you need to current limit the led's with a resistor or they will overheat/burnout , lots of led scematic charts on the web a resisters are dirt cheap just plug in whatever voltage you want to use ie: 12 v / 24 / 6 |

| I know that, But....say i have 6, 2 watt LEDs and i plug all into a 12 VDC cconverter, would a resistor be necessary?

| always need a resistor to limit the current otherwise they will heat up and flow to much current even if you had 4*3 volt led's w/12v p/s in series you would need more than 15 volts so give em more than that and limit it with a resistor or run 2 banks of 3 leds series / parrell w/resistors to make up the 3 volt diff. 3*3led=9v + res 3v=12v must have resistor inline to limit ma. |
