| Re: My first DIY Project Took 8 days.total hours i would say 55 to 60.
The single most time consuming part was notching out the 4x4's for the corner posts that took me like 4 hours from cutting the 4x4's to length then notching.2 of the cuts for each notch were simlple(side cuts).I just set the table saw to the correct depth and the side bar to the width of a 2x4.now cutting down into the top of the 4x4 was a pain.tried a jigsaw, hacksaw and a scrollsaw, was at a loss, then i spotted a sabre saw in my neighbors basement.clamped the 4x4 one by one into a craftsman work bench then sat on top of the 4x4 and made the cuts.it was a little unerving pulling that saw towards me.
in all reality you can cut a house in half with the thing would take about 2 to 3 hours but could be done |
