My original plan was to build something simple yet sturdy, the more I thought about it, the more complicated it got. I still need to order my doors. Measurments are 74x 20x40" . But yeah, here it is..

    Material List...
    2 2x6x8's
    8 2x4x8's
    1/2 sheet of 1/2" plywood
    Full sheet of 1/4" plywood
    Crown molding of your choice
    1 BUTTLOAD of 2.5" screws
    1g of primer
    1g of paint

    case of sam adams (optional)

I almost forgot the most important material... Having a family member who has a woodshop and lets you use it!!!

First pics are of the build process
I used the 2x6's to build the top of the frame. 2x4's for the bottom of the frame.

nice. I wish I had the guts to build my own stand. If mine breaks I have someone else to blame.

No guts needed... Just gotta know the enginnering side of construction, or know an actual rocket engineer like I do, hahahah! Thats why I went with 2x6's on the top. You can use 2x6's without supports on tanks up to 150g. They can easily support the weight without center supports. I added false center supports on mine so I could mount the doors to something solid.

Thanks! It took longer then expected to get it this far. Still have to build the canopy.... Still have to decide on EXACTLY how I wanna build the canopy. I'll come up was a CAD of the idea I am toying with in my head and post it later.
