It would be easier then my tank. My tank is only 30" wide so the radius of the bend is much steeper. The wider the tank, the easier the bend would be.

That's awsome. I'll be making a custom stand like that for my next tank. I made my old stand for my 55 gallon tank out of 2x4s, and that home-made stand could hold up much more weight than any of the stands they sell in stores and will last much longer. That stand you built will be an heirloom someday.
