I have two HK Evo 750's and two HK Evo 1050's that I just purchased and installed for my FW to SW conversion. I'm getting a bad vibration transfer to the acrylic and it's resonating pretty good. I can hear it from over 40' away in my basement. However, there's hardly any noise when I remove the pump from the mount.

I have the antivibration mounts for the pumps in place. Has anyone had any success with further dampening? I'm trying to come up with something I can put between the current rubber feet and the tank mount or something I can use in place of the rubber feet.

I called HK and they said that it's the 3/8" acrylic and there's not much that can be done. :(

I think I got them on ebay... I'll go look in my purchase history. I've used some washer/dryer ones and they are good too.

My pump was vibrating local furniture. I had a computer amoire, if I my feet on it I swear my teeth would nearly chatter! The fish was not himself until we fixed that issue.

Just realized that I put down pump and probably should have put Powerhead.

The mounts do have rubber feet on them though, so the one's you linked may still work.

I have 4 evolutions and 2 K series and none vibrate? The two Evo 1400's are on a RKL controller switching at 30 second intervals and unless you are standing next to the tank looking right at them, you have no idea which if any is running?
Koralia warrants Evos for 24 months, I would contact them directly about the issue.

It's not really the power heads being bad it's them having a resonate frequency that the acrylic amplifies.

I would look at damping the walls of the tank. How to do it without obstructing the view is the challenge.
