Has anyone used polyurethane foam?

Has anybody used this foam in their tanks? i know people use it to seal waterfalls and the ilk in ponds but wondered if it was reef safe?

i want to build a wall out of lava rock with this foam to cement the pieces and alow the carving of caves and such like.....any suggestions?

yea i was wondering to what a guy could use to build a fake 1 piece reef. like they do in zoos and aquariums.

I've seen a couple of articles online from people who used the spray foam insulation stuff to create backdrops in their tanks. I'll see if I can dig up a link.

thanks for the link....thats a whole lot of reading....with a fair few muppets thrown in too...

i may just give it a go in the new year with the new tank....a little thought needed though

no and to be honest i dont know what they look like....i can picture it though, as well as the price! lol. and i dont think the better half would let me bake moddeling clay in the oven!.....but we do need a new one - lol
