Default Does anyone have 55g stand plans?
I have found the Garf DIY stand and I am thinking of using it. I am planning on making it 24in tall 12 wide 48long. With this dimension I am figuring that I can cover the structure with 1 4X8 3/4 plywood adding to the strength. Does anyone kown of anyother plans. Also what foam do you use to help support/level thr tank(memory foam).

Wish I could help ... I'm planning to make one also...Toying with the idea of using 3/4 in. press-board. 36in. high and 20 or so inches deep in case I go to a bigger tank. Then finish it off with Flex stone paint. Probably won,t get to this till October.. Post pics of yours ...good luck

It is just run of the mill styrofoam. You can use the white or the blue stuff. The idea is that the weight of the tank crushes the foam and evens out any pressure points.
