Ok heres the deal, Since my tank is going to be an island style design(tank is viewable from all 4 sides) i am planning on making as many things invisible to the eye so it wont take from the aquarium. My tank has a 2" bulkhead in the middle towards the right side of the tank. Since i dont want to do an overflow box because it takes to much space i plan on doing this.

This is basically a stockman pipe but with a cone around it acting like an overflow box.The pipe in the middle is inside a 2" to 4" pipe adapter(the cone). The water goes down into the cone and up into the cutout in the pipe.On top of the pipe there is an encap with hole for airline tubing. Then over the cutout in the pipe there is a coupling just like the stockman design.
Heres a picture and the link to the stockman design

I know this is an old thread but how do you like the results? If you were to do it all over again would you change anything?
