| Re: DIY moonlight O, and the only problem with using the xmas lights is that they are designed to project the light around and not down, or at a specific point
think of it as a spot light compared to a regular light bulb, they can be used, if they are UL listed for external use, and they will give you about the same look as the rope lighting
