| OK. So it's up and running with just fresh RO/DI water for now. I've never had a tank with drilled overflow/return before. I'm finding that every 20 seconds or so, the water in the overflow (corner overflow) compartment reaches a top point, then goes down about 3 inches with a gurgling/crashing sound that injects gazillions of bubbles into the water coming into the sump.
I've tried dialing back the return pump, but it's not helping.
Any advice on what's happenening and how to correct this?

| I might wind up using one of these. I have one on my 55, and it works great. It cost all of $3.17 to make.
Unless anyone else has any suggestions.
BTW, Luna, you were right about the horizontal pipe. If you notice, I put a ball valve on the sump side's descending output to increase the flow to the 'fuge side. I think it did the trick. Good call, my friend!! |

When done properly, it does away with the gargling/toilet flushing sound. _________ Got Questions? Need Answers? "Believe those who are seeking the truth; doubt those who find it." Andre Gide |
