| worm juice my uncle has been sorta keeping up on my grandmas tank. the bristle worms in there have been growing to insane sizes. he cant get them, they can hide in his rock at the drop of a hat. i was over there and one snuck out and blew this puff of white junk that slowly clouded the whole tank for about an hour. any ideas what that was?

| Re: worm juice well, I got mine out pretty easy. I got up in the middle of the night, when it was really dark. Opened the tank and got some chop-sticks (yeah, the chinese food ones). then got a flashlight and searched the bottom of the tank. They were all crawling over the sand to get from one rock to another. then I used the chopsticks to pick em up. I collected them and they got dumped in the food dispenser
was pretty simple actually

| Re: worm juice One technique is to put some food in a piece of pantyhose. Put the baited hose in the tank at night. The worms will come for the food and get tangled up. You can then toss the whole thing...worms and all in the trash in the morning. |

Bristle worm trap : http://www.aquadirect.com/store/cust...185&page=1
Let me dispel a myth: the small bristle worm traps that are sold in stores will often not work. The trap is either too small or it just does not live up to your expectations. http://www.netpets.org/fish/referenc...f/bristle.html
