Mandarin I use API Ca test too
doing the first bottle with 10 drops, shake, then..
if you are doing 20 drops of the second bottle to get it to turn blue, then the chart says you Ca is at 400mg/l which is pretty darned good... | |

cuttingras, do you want the whole test tube to turn blue or just the drop of test solution 2 when it hits what's already in the tube because I was under the impression you watch for the drop to turn blue and that only takes one drop for me so 20 ppm or less, but knowing me I'm probably doing it wrong. | |

try using expecto patronum lol

Wow my calc must be off the charts then because I think I went up to 20 or 22 drops once and it was still that pinkish purple color. Thanks cuttingras! Well I'll have to test it again later. Hope you have good luck with a pH buffer. Hopefully raising your salinity will help a lot. | |

do you have the chart that comes with it? if it's 20 drops then you ca is 400mg/l I'll post a copy of the chart if you need it or send it over pm | |
