| what have i done? well i woke up today and decided to clean my tank(havnt done it in months).so i went to the lfs to buy some water.well i end up uying a small piece of LR and a small bag of sand.well i come ome and im start with my normal water changing procedures.i said nah i removed every single piece of lr i could find in my tank.then i remove some water and just dump the new water in(not mixing it properly like i always do).then i dump the bag of sand in and take the small piece of live rock and put it in.i took my other LR and throw it in the sun(at this point im just doing things cuz im upset that i have enough long hair algae to make tina turner jealous). then i dump a crap load of iodine, calcium and PH up amonia killer and chroline killer in my tank with out even caring. i think i lost it guys.WTF have i done!!!!!!
now im worried that all my snails and coral banded shrimp quit and roll over from the water change.then my fish arent to happy cuz it looks like they are in a cloud.and im expecting my shipment of coral in at anytime.then i have to go to work and i cant monitor anything.im going crazy. |

| i don't know about your lfs but you may want to ask them to hold your fish till you can figure everything out. |

| Yeah, be prepared to come home to a dead tank so if you're ok with that, go right on ahead to work. If you're not ok with it, call work and tell them you'll be late.
If a little hair algae is all it takes to make you do something so very drastic, I think you've got a long row to hoe |

| A new tank doesn't matter, you nuked your LR, you're going to have to cycle all over again.... |
