What to do with my Coralife 125 Skimmer??

    So I just upgraded my skimmers on both my predator and reef tanks. The skimmer I had originally bought when I first started reefing was a coralife 125 that I picked up for cheap. I've now been "educated" on the fact that coralife is generally considered a substandard skimmer, so I don't really want to sell it to someone else... I just can't decide what I could do with it. Does anyone know of any mods that can be done, or could I use it as a reactor or something??

    There are alot of reef related mods for coralifes, its kinda the only way they work well. I would plug it up though, and make Iced Tea inside it. People who like modding will buy it, i had no problem selling my 65's a few years back.

    I just pulled a 65 out of my tank and have the same problem. It is shoved in a very dark closet for now. Doesn't deserve to see light IMO.

    If you guys are just getting rid of skimmers ill take them to hold me over until I can order my Reef Octopus :)
