| What is that? I just found something weird under one of my ledge. There was a tube, it was always there, but I didn't see anything until today. It looks like there is a worm inside. He's kinda thick...the tube is kinda thick. It head look likes the creature from "Alien." The tube has only one openning, the other was seal/rounded off. Alos the tube is kinda thin/clear, I can see how long he is...which is about 3/8".
What can this be???
Thanks!
Gary

| i do not know the name but it sounds like the type of worm that casts out a net of mucus to catch debris, detrirus and eat it. sorry i do not have a name for yah but does that activity sound familiar? |

| I took a pic already (not good), but can't seem to find my adapter...I thought I place it next to the my tank.
Reeflover, it's a diff. worm. I can actually see it...no tenacles sticking out either.
I will post it as soon as I found my adapter.
Thanks! |

| Well, my adapter seem to be on the hide out. In the mean time, I saw some web like things around the shell. I remember it's some type of worm, but not exactly. Anyone?
Thanks! |

| Have you seen it feeding? What does it do?
What is the worm doing as you are looking at it?
It might be a tiny cucumber. I have one that covers his body with sand. He retracts his tentacles within his body and then takes them out, similar to the pink cucumber, so I'm pretty sure my little guy is a filter-feeder/detritivore, since he grazes the sand particles.

| Hm-mm hard to see, is it in a tube stuck to the rock? Doesn't look that bad...there really isn't anything "bad" for your tank, just things that some people don't like...like my (maybe) mantis shrimp...there nothing wrong with it...but if it starts eating my little buggers its going down! |
