So you wouldn't say its too splashy or makes big waves?

I don't want anything sloppin over the sides and such

No it shouldn't do any splashing over the sides. Originally I wanted it a little lower in my tank cause of the little splashing of water it would push over my overflows which caused but since I had to dremel out my over flows to handle more water anyway that took care of most of it. I spoke to them and they sent me longer bolts and spacers that would have moved it down about 1/2" but by the time I got them I have my rock in place so I am not using them.

Shawn you might have missed it above, so the Wave2k is cool on a 120? I read one review where the guy didn't think it would be strong enough on a tank bigger than a 75.
