Default in-wall tank pointers

I have an in-wall tank. I really am pleased with how it turned out, but if I had it to do all over again, I definitely would have made a little more space for working behind it. I would be very interested in any tips anyone might have for maintenance and cleaning an in-wall tank from the back. One problem I have is not being able to get any true perspective from behind and above the tank. Anytime I'm trying to place or move a coral, I have to have my wife standing on the other side yelling through the wall at me trying to get the coral in the right spot. If I can ever figure out how to post a few pics I will.

I have a floor lamp that I can turn the bulb holder arm and I wrapped the globe with Aluminum foil and then I look at where i want to place a coral then set the lamp up and focused on that spot and when i cut the tank lights is easy to see I also have a hatch door in the top and I also have it so the whole top will also raise up on a piano hinge its 135 and 3 M/H and 2 6ft VHO's mounted to the opening top. But after you get used to the lighting thing its really easy to do. I built a 3 ft wide chase behind it and have a 100 gal sump. One I just had laying around thats why I used it. I also built a refugium in the wall under the display tank. Kids love to see the fuge more then the tank LOL

Default in-wall

Thanks for both tips. I'm going to try the lamp idea. Part of my problem is that my setup is in a closet that is under a staircase so my ceiling slopes upward leaving much less space above the tank on one end. I do have my lights attached to a hood that is hung from chains and using a pulley I can move them out of the way...at least somewhat. So are you saying that your refugium is also visible through the wall? That sounds really cool.
