Default Timer from Home Depot for Powerheads

I was at Home Depot 7 times over the weekend...don't ask I worked on projects for the house all weekend . Anyways I ran into a digital light timer that allows you to setup 14 independent on and off times for a day and set it to for monday - Sunday. A setting for on and off is considered 1 of the 14 events. I setup one of my powerheads on it and the powerhead comes on at 14 different times during the day. Cost 19.99.

For instance I set it up like this

on 12:00am
off 1:00am
on 2:00am
off 3:00am
on 5:00am
off 5:30am
on 6:30am
off 9:00am

and so on until Midnight.

Interested in your thoughts.

Sean

Its a light timer designed to make it look like somebody is home by turning a lamp on and off at different intervals throughout the day. You can only plug one powerhead to it, although I'm sure you could get a plug adaptor and hook up multiple PH, but they would all be on the same schedule.

When I get home from work I will get the UPC and post it.

Wow....random setting too! That should make for a nice powerhead controller for varying the current in the tank!

I am getting two.....

Wow, so many things can be adapted for a marine aquarium. Attach your powerheads to those and that is as real as it gets!

i use somthing similar to turn my metal halides on and off, they work great and they are cheap for what you get, i don't know about the one in the above posts but mine can handle 15 amp loads so you can use them for anything
