I haven't needed to replace my membrane filter yet it's been 16 months. I have replaced my resin filter once.

I didn't even know you were not using one.

My intent was to show some of the people that were newer to the Reef hobbie.

but I think we'll start now

I've never had my TDS go above 0 but usually my output drops to a rate I can't live with. Thats when I swop them out.

Default Re: For those that don't think they need RO/DI

I let mine get to 2 or 3 TDS before I swap em out.
I got the refillable DI filters from AIR Water And Ice which cost around 40 bucks and I can change them 3 times I Think. I have not had to change the DI recently but have the change out stuff when needed. If you buy the stand alone DI filter replacement then they can cost you 30+ a piece so I am happy with the re fillable ones I got.

Oh I have never replaced my ro membrane either and it is almost 2 years now. The flush system really works.
