You know luna, I have been thinking for a long time of taking the tank down and drilling it for a cls. I have one on my sps tank and love it. It's a 50 gallong tank with a reeflo snapper running my cls. Lots of flow but even then something could get stuck against the intake of the cls and do the same thing. I think sometimes we just get jaded to how nice things are going for us and have to be brought back to reality and shown that we are not God and bad things can still happen to us and no matter how good and experienced we are at this hobby we aren't perfect.

_________

2 systems #1 55 gal softie/lps, 70 lbs LR, black sand, too many corals to list, w/ 4x96 watt pc, 2 seio 1100 pumps, diy rubbermaid sump with custom skimmer.

Its funny , but I never understood what a CLS is. All of our tanks are CLS. As for the PH issue, I only have 2 PH in my system. 1. is the return pump and the 2. is for the skimmer. The RP is a Magdrive 18 and is connected to a Loc-Line spray bar which come in 5 sections long. I have almost 5 of those sections pointed everywhere. Every 5th one is pointed to the back of the tank to discourage any dead spots. The way I set this up, theres no way anything can be sucked up by the PH. Luna
