All of our tanks are CLS. As for the PH issue, I only have 2 PH in my system. 1. is the return pump and the 2. is for the skimmer. The RP is a Magdrive 18 and is connected to a Loc-Line spray bar which come in 5 sections long. I have almost 5 of those sections pointed everywhere. Every 5th one is pointed to the back of the tank to discourage any dead spots. The way I set this up, theres no way anything can be sucked up by the PH.
